Two US Navy Jets Collide Midair at Idaho Air Show, All Four Crew Members Eject Safely

Two US Navy EA-18G Growler jets collided midair during an air show at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho on Sunday. All four crew members successfully ejected, with only one sustaining non-life-threatening injuries.

Two U.S. Navy fighter jets collided at an air show in Idaho, with four pilots successfully ejecting and escaping.

The accident occurred during the Gunfighter Skies air show hosted by Mountain Home Air Force Base.

At the time, two aircraft were conducting a flight performance.

After the collision, four pilots immediately ejected and escaped.

One pilot sustained an injury, but the injury was not life-threatening.

Both aircraft were EA-18G Growler electronic attack aircraft from a Navy squadron based on Whidbey Island, Washington State.

After the accident, the air show was immediately canceled and the military base locked down.
