May Day Protests Sweep US Cities as Workers Demand Rights Over Billionaire Interests

Nearly 500 organizations in the US launched large-scale protests on May Day under the theme Workers Over Billionaires. Participants were called on to skip work, school, and shopping as a form of economic boycott.

On May 1st, International Labour Day, the United States held large-scale protest activities in major cities.

The activities emphasized the principle of nonviolence, with all participants required to conduct their protests in a peaceful manner.
