The University of Illinois men basketball team beat Iowa 71-59 on March 28, reaching the NCAA Final Four for the first time in 21 years.
The University of Illinois team won against the University of Iowa by a score of 71 to 59 on March 28. This victory allowed them to advance to the NCAA Final Four. The last time the University of Illinois entered the Final Four was in the year 2005. Freshman player Keaton Wagler scored 25 points, the highest scorer across the whole game. He attempted seven shots at the free-throw line and made all of them. The Final Four games will be held on April 4 in Indianapolis. The University of Illinois will face off against the University of Connecticut (UConn) in the first game.
