Congo Ebola Outbreak Nears 300 Cases as WHO Maintains International Emergency Status

The Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has reached 282 confirmed cases and over 350 suspected deaths, making it the third-largest outbreak on record. The WHO declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern on May 17.
