China and the United States Collaborate on Cancer Prevention and Treatment Innovation

China-US cancer research collaboration advances

In early March, the affiliated hospital of Sun Yat-sen University and Dana Cancer Research Institute of Harvard Medical School jointly hosted an international conference on cancer prevention and treatment innovation in Guangzhou. Expert teams from both countries engaged in close collaboration on lung cancer, colon cancer, breast cancer, and other areas.

This international collaboration demonstrates the increasing recognition of the importance of cross-border medical research cooperation. The conference brought together leading cancer researchers to share advances and develop new strategies for fighting cancer.
