UK Health Secretary Streeting Resigns, Deepening Labour Leadership Crisis

UK Health Secretary Wes Streeting resigned on May 14, saying he had lost confidence in Prime Minister Starmer leadership. The resignation deepened a political crisis that has seen over 90 Labour MPs call on Starmer to set a departure date.

UK Health Secretary Wes Streeting announced his resignation on May 14th, stating that he has lost confidence in Prime Minister Keir Starmer's leadership. In his resignation letter, Streeting wrote: "We need a vision, but what you have given us is a vacuum."
