China 15th Five-Year Plan Targets Six Emerging Industries With AI Output Above 10 Trillion Yuan by 2030

China National Peoples Congress approved the 15th Five-Year Plan, designating AI, integrated circuits and four other sectors as emerging pillar industries, with a target for the AI industry to surpass 10 trillion yuan by 2030. The plan also calls for over 7 trillion yuan in infrastructure investment in 2026 to support the economic transformation.
