NASA has moved up the launch of the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope to September 2026. The telescope will explore dark energy, exoplanets, and conduct wide-field infrared surveys of the universe.

NASA recently announced that the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope launch window has been moved up to September 2026. This telescope has a field of view 100 times that of Hubble, will conduct large-scale infrared sky surveys. The telescope is named after NASA's first chief astronomer Nancy Grace Roman. Previously, the telescope's launch date was originally planned for late 2026.
