Uber and WeRide Launch Fully Driverless Robotaxi Service in Dubai

Uber and WeRide have launched a fully driverless robotaxi service in Dubai, allowing passengers to book autonomous rides through the Uber app.

Uber and WeRide launched a new service in Dubai. This is Dubai's first time having completely autonomous taxis. There are no drivers in the vehicle; the computer drives. Passengers can use Uber's app to book this type of taxi. The taxis operate in two very famous places in Dubai. WeRide has over 200 autonomous vehicles in the Middle East. Uber says they want to provide this service in more cities.
