TikTok faces US ban threat

The United States considered banning TikTok in 2024.

Amazon announced the expansion of its AWS cloud infrastructure across South America. New data centers are being built in Brazil and Colombia.

This expansion aims to provide lower latency and better service for businesses in the region. AWS is investing heavily in local talent recruitment and training programs.

Competitors like Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud are also expanding in the region.
