SoftBank plans to integrate its AI and robotics operations into an independent firm called Roze and seek a US IPO targeting a valuation of around USD 100 billion. The spin-off could take place as early as the second half of 2026, though the timeline and valuation target remain subject to considerable uncertainty.

South Korea's electronics giant Samsung Electronics announced record-breaking first quarter results, with semiconductors division leading growth. Total revenue reached 78 trillion won, with net profit surging 145% year-over-year to 15 trillion won.
