Cloud data company Snowflake released its fiscal year 2027 first quarter financial report on May 28. The company's quarterly revenue reached 1.39 billion dollars, exceeding analyst expectations. Product revenue was 1.33 billion dollars, growing 34 percent year-over-year. Adjusted earnings per share was 39 cents, higher than market forecasts. Meanwhile, Snowflake announced a five-year 6 billion dollar partnership agreement with Amazon cloud services. Both parties will focus on advancing enterprise-level artificial intelligence workloads. The agreement will utilize Amazon Graviton chips and artificial intelligence GPU technology. Following the announcement, the company's stock price surged nearly 37 percent after-hours trading. The company also raised full-year product revenue guidance to 5.84 billion dollars.
