Second anniversary of Russia-Ukraine war marks grinding attritional conflict

War enters grinding attritional phase with heavy casualties and ammunition shortages.

February 24th marked the two-year anniversary of the Russia-Ukraine war.

The conflict entered a protracted attrition phase with enormous casualties. Ukraine faced critical ammunition shortages. Russia advanced slowly while incurring enormous casualties.
