OpenAI Launches DeployCo Consulting Arm With Over $4 Billion in Backing

OpenAI officially launched its enterprise consulting arm DeployCo on May 11, backed by over $4 billion from 19 investors including Bain and McKinsey.

OpenAI announced May 11 establishment of enterprise AI consulting subsidiary DeployCo. The subsidiary raised over $4 billion with initial valuation reaching $10 billion. DeployCo's core model deploys cutting-edge deployment engineers to enterprise customers. These engineers stationed at customer offices identify business workflows that AI can improve efficiency for. DeployCo will acquire AI consulting firm Tomoro, bringing approximately 150 experienced engineers and deployment specialists.
