NVIDIA Next-Gen AI Chip Vera Rubin Enters Full Production Ahead of Schedule as Cloud Giants Rush to Order

NVIDIA announced its Vera Rubin AI chip has entered full mass production ahead of schedule, with performance roughly ten times that of the previous Blackwell generation. Microsoft, Amazon and Google have pre-ordered large quantities, with the first cloud services set to go live in the second half of 2026.

NVIDIA announced that its latest generation artificial intelligence chip, Vera Rubin, has entered full mass production ahead of schedule. This chip was first unveiled in January at the Consumer Electronics Show.

Compared to the previous generation Blackwell architecture, Vera Rubin's inference speed has improved by approximately ten times.

Major cloud computing platforms including Microsoft, Amazon, and Google have already pre-ordered large quantities of chips.

NVIDIA states that the first cloud services based on Vera Rubin will officially launch in the second half of this year.

Analysts note that this early mass production will further consolidate NVIDIA's dominant position in the AI chip market.

Meanwhile, major technology companies are accelerating their investment pace in AI infrastructure.
