Nvidia Market Cap Surpasses Five Trillion Dollars

US chipmaker Nvidia set an all-time stock price record on April 24, with its market cap surpassing five trillion dollars to become the worlds most valuable company.

Nvidia's stock price reached an all-time high on April 24.

Nvidia's market capitalization consequently broke through the $5 trillion mark.

This made Nvidia the company with the highest market capitalization globally.

Nvidia's stock price has risen significantly this year because the artificial intelligence market is extremely popular.

On the same day, semiconductor company Intel's stock also rose 24 percent, marking the largest single-day gain in nearly 40 years.
