Trump Says US-Iran Ceasefire on Massive Life Support as Negotiations Reach Deadlock

Trump said the US-Iran ceasefire is on "massive life support" after rejecting Iran counter-proposals on May 11. Iran accused the US of making unreasonable demands, with talks deadlocked over nuclear concessions and the ongoing naval blockade.

On May 11th, United States President Trump publicly stated that the US-Iran ceasefire is currently in a state of "massive life support," meaning it is on the verge of collapse.

Previously, Iran submitted a counter-proposal to the US side, demanding that the United States lift its naval blockade and declare an end to the war.

Trump condemned Iran's response as "completely unacceptable," and as a result, negotiations between the two parties have fallen into a deadlock.

On the other hand, Iran's Foreign Ministry accused the United States of putting forward "unreasonable" unilateral demands.

Currently, the United States continues its naval blockade against Iran. According to estimates, the blockade has already caused Iran to lose nearly $4.8 billion in oil revenue.

At the same time, military tensions between the US and Iran continue to escalate.
