UK Researchers at Kings College London Gain Access to Google Willow Quantum Chip

Researchers at Kings College London have gained access to the Google Willow quantum processor.

Researchers from King's College London in the United Kingdom have gained access to Google's Willow quantum chip. This is Google's first collaboration with a United Kingdom government institution, allowing researchers to use the Willow chip. Willow is Google's latest quantum computing chip. It can solve a very difficult problem in five minutes, while ordinary supercomputers would need many years to complete. King's College London researchers will use this chip to research quantum systems and the connection between brain systems. This collaboration is a project promoted by the United Kingdom National Quantum Computing Center. Many countries currently want to develop quantum computing technology.
