China Blocks Meta 2 Billion Dollar Acquisition of AI Startup Manus

On April 27, China National Development and Reform Commission announced it was prohibiting Meta from acquiring AI startup Manus, ordering all parties to unwind the approximately $2 billion deal.

India's space agency announced plans for a new lunar mission scheduled for 2027, aiming to land on the moon's south polar region and establish a permanent research station.

The mission, called Chandrayaan-4, builds on the success of India's previous moon landing missions. Scientists will conduct experiments on lunar water ice samples and study the moon's mineral composition.

The project represents a significant step in India's space exploration ambitions and demonstrates the country's growing technological capabilities. International partners including Japan and Russia have expressed interest in collaborating on the mission.

Experts believe that establishing a permanent lunar research station would provide valuable insights into the moon's geology and its potential as a future resource for space exploration. The mission is expected to cost approximately $150 million and will employ advanced robotics and autonomous systems.
