Science & TechnologyAI Chipmaker Cerebras Files for IPO Led by Morgan Stanley, Targeting $2 Billion Raise
US AI chipmaker Cerebras Systems has refiled for a US IPO with Morgan Stanley as lead underwriter, targeting a $2 billion raise at a valuation of around $23 billion.
US artificial intelligence chip company Cerebras Systems resubmitted its IPO filing to the US Securities and Exchange Commission, planning to list on Nasdaq. According to sources familiar with the matter, this IPO is led by Morgan Stanley with a target fundraising size of approximately $2 billion.
Cerebras previously withdrew its IPO application in October 2025 due to regulatory security review concerning its relationship with UAE investment partner G42. Following months of negotiations, related issues have been resolved, and the company subsequently restarted its IPO plan.
In February this year, Cerebras completed a $1 billion Series H funding round with a valuation reaching approximately $23 billion. The company has signed a multi-year cooperation agreement with OpenAI exceeding $10 billion, providing important support for its IPO.
Cerebras is known for its wafer-scale chip architecture, capable of processing large-scale AI inference tasks with lower power consumption. If the IPO succeeds, Cerebras will become one of the largest technology IPOs in the United States this year. Analysts note that if successful, Cerebras will become one of the largest US technology IPOs this year.
