The robust performance was driven by sustained strong demand for artificial intelligence-related chips, which significantly expanded global semiconductor production equipment procurement. Supported by this strong demand, ASML raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance from the previous range of 34 billion to 39 billion euros to a new range of 36 billion to 40 billion euros.

Looking ahead, the company projects second quarter net sales between 8.4 billion and 9 billion euros, with gross margins expected to remain between 51 and 52 percent.
